Inside Sales Representative (Cover Letter Required)

Pierson Computing Connection, Inc. is a woman-owned technology services company headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Inside Sales Representative assists account executives in the sales process by managing sales activity, processing orders, and providing customer support. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience in proposal writing and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders for active client projects
• Track orders and ensure invoices are processed per customer contract requirements
• Maintain all won/lost information
• Provide ongoing customer support by answering questions, tracing order status or product shipments, and resolving issues
• Resolve order and shipping problems by investigating data and history, identifying alternative means of fulfilling orders, and notifying managers and customers
• Prepare and distribute reports as needed for clients or internally
• Prioritize and respond to inbound customer inquiries promptly and accurately
• Resolve customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner to maintain the highest level of customer relationships
• Maintain all sales activity in Pierson’s CRM (Netsuite)
• Assist the Account Executives in writing proposals and preparing statements of work
• Provide input on Pierson’s website and marketing activities to drive sales opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Any experience as indicated in the remaining Essential Functions and Competencies
• Experience in a service industry customer-facing role
• Class C (passenger vehicle) driver's license with a clean driving record
• Above-average Excel and organizational skills
• Experience responding to requests for proposals, contracts, and statements of work
• One year of experience in the remaining Essential Functions and Competencies
• Two years of business-to-business solution sales or estimating experience
• Any experience working with public sector clients
• Industry technical certifications, such as manufacturer certifications for IBM and Lenovo
