[Remote] Commercial Renewals Broker (Remote First)

They are seeking a driven Commercial Renewals Broker to join their growing Renewals team, responsible for managing the renewal process for existing clients and ensuring seamless retention of their business.

Responsibilities

• Renewal Leadership: Supporting and effectively managing the renewal process for existing customers within your account portfolio to ensure seamless retention
• Data Integrity: Carefully reviewing all account policy data for accuracy and ensuring zero errors in client documentation
• Consultative Communication: Maintaining effective communication with clients to fully understand their unique insurance requirements and making strategic recommendations
• Gap Analysis: Advising customers on "silent exclusions" or gaps in coverage and recommending additional lines to strengthen their risk architecture
• Market Advocacy: Liaising with insurance partners to negotiate and create the best possible insurance packages for each client

Skills

• You hold a valid broker license for your province and have 1+ years of P&C experience
• Previous commercial broking experience is strongly preferred
• CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a bonus
• You're skilled at translating complex insurance concepts into simple, clear language that clients appreciate
• Proven ability to utilize a BMS or other digital tools to streamline your workflows and manage high-volume client data
• You thrive working with colleagues, underwriting teams, and partners to achieve shared goals and deliver seamless service
• You approach challenges with persistence and agility, consistently meeting set targets and finding innovative solutions
• You have strong prioritization skills and demonstrated flexibility in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and tasks simultaneously
• You maintain a sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all policy and account management processes
