Associate Software Engineer

Job Summary: Under direction of a senior software engineer, the software engineer develops, maintains, and enhances internally developed applications, tools, and utilities, including a proprietary advisor support platform that includes CRM, investment tracking, billing, research and operational workflows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a .NET-based, proprietary advisor platform Build and enhance API and back-end services Write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data access and reporting Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues Take direction from Senior Software Engineers and Project Leads Adhere to best practices in software development, including CI/CD, testing, code quality, and documentation Collaborate with other team members and contribute to team discussions Interact with internal clients regarding development details Document technical processes and system changes Required Education and Experience: Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience 1 to 3+ years of experience in software engineering or internships Preferred Education and Experience: Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate experience Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) experience Skills:

  • Microsoft development stack (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, etc.)
  • Basic Web API development
  • T-SQL and SQL Server Fundamentals
  • Understanding of OOP principles
  • Some experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern engineering tooling and general software development life cycle principles
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions in complex environments
  • Sequel server reporting services experience is a plus
