This role is built for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and helping producers find the right solutions for their clients. The Agency Growth Manager is responsible for recruiting and developing independent health insurance producers and agencies across a defined territory introducing them to SB’s individual health (ACA), small group, self-funded, short-term medical (STM), dental, and ICHRA product lines, and guiding their adoption of INSXCloud’s industry-leading Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) platform. Backed by a dedicated support team, the Agency Growth Manager’s focus remains on territory growth and producer development. Fluency in voluntary benefits as strategic coverage complements required. This is a base plus production bonus opportunity. The base salary range is $75,000 to $90,000, with total earnings potential of $120,000 and above. We are currently seeking candidates in Florida and Texas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, target, and pursue high-potential independent producers and regional agencies within your territory, executing recruitment strategies based on market composition, producer profiles, and competitive landscape. Represent SB at regional industry events, broker associations, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and source new producer relationships. Clearly articulate SB’s value proposition to prospective and contracted producers through one-on-one, in-person field meetings, presentations, and consultations. Lead all aspects of new producer recruitment — from initial outreach and value proposition presentation through contract execution and licensing facilitation. Deliver field-based product training on SB’s full portfolio, including ACA, small group, self-funded, short-term medical, dental, and ICHRA programs, coaching producers on sales techniques and platform usage to accelerate production ramp. Drive adoption of INSXCloud’s Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) platform among all newly recruited and assigned producers. Execute a structured transition of stabilized producer relationships to the Broker Success Specialist team, maintaining focus on new producer development. Coordinate with Support Coordinators to ensure contracting, administrative, and compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time. Meet or exceed established quotas for net-new producers recruited and aggregate production volume generated by your recruited base. Guide producers in using voluntary benefits (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity) to close HDHP and ACA coverage gaps through deductible mitigation and cost-neutral plan strategies. Advise producers on excepted benefit status, ERISA applicability, and COB rules to ensure voluntary product recommendations preserve HSA eligibility and ACA compliance. Equip producers to present voluntary benefits as essential coverage complements not upsells within Silver-tier and high-deductible plan contexts. Perform similar job-related duties as assigned.
