On-Site Event Tech Support in NYC

We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy freelancer to provide on-site support for a 2-day event in the Nolita neighborhood of New York City. You will be responsible for managing [Insert Number] iPads, ensuring our event app runs smoothly, and helping attendees interact with the technology. Key Responsibilities: Arrive prior to the event start time to power on, clean, and prep iPads for the day. Connect all devices to the venue Wi-Fi and ensure the event app is loaded, updated, and functioning. Lock iPads into the required app using iOS "Guided Access." Troubleshoot minor tech issues on the fly (e.g., app freezing, Wi-Fi dropping, battery management). Provide excellent, friendly customer service to attendees using the iPads. Requirements: Location: Must be physically located in the NYC area and able to reliably commute to Nolita. Tech Skills: Familiarity with Apple iOS, specifically navigating iPad settings, standard Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and Guided Access. Professionalism: Punctual, proactive, and capable of working independently on-site while representing our client.
