Project Manager Expert
You will lead agile and hybrid project teams to deliver business value through structured planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, schedules, and delivery plans while managing risks, issues, and deviations from the plan.
- Lead project status meetings, distribute progress reports, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Manage project teams by removing roadblocks, mentoring members, and ensuring accountability for commitments.
- Support the Product Owner with stakeholder communication, customer expectation management, and project governance.
- Monitor vendor performance metrics to ensure delivery against contract requirements.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to implement Agile best practices and maintain high quality standards.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in project management or similar roles.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in project/program planning, resource planning, and work plan development.
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, Workfront, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or Visio.
- Expertise in Scrum/Agile and hybrid methodologies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for complex decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact with stakeholders at the executive level.
- Experience providing leadership to business analysts, program managers, and coordinators.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification.
- Experience with organizational change management.
- Prior experience working within public sector health and human services agencies (DHHS).
