Job Title: Sr. Engineer Location: India (Remote) Experience: 5 - 7 Years Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong data handling and validation expertise to support insurance domain workflows and system configurations. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to validate data structures, business rules, and workflow setups, ensuring high data quality and system accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and validate XML/JSON data structures and schemas for accuracy and completeness Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting Work with PostgreSQL databases to manage, validate, and ensure integrity of data Validate business rules and workflows in insurance systems to ensure alignment with requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business logic and system behavior Identify data inconsistencies, issues, and gaps, and proactively drive resolution Participate in requirement discussions and ask relevant questions to clarify expectations Document validation processes, findings, and recommendations Required Skills & Qualifications 5–7 years of relevant experience in data validation, data analysis, or similar roles Strong understanding of XML and JSON structures and schema validation Advanced proficiency in SQL (data validation, querying, and analysis) Solid knowledge of RDBMS concepts, specifically PostgreSQL Experience working with insurance domain workflows and business rules Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Proactive mindset with a strong learning attitude and ability to ask the right questions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have Experience with Verisk FAST Insurance platform or similar insurance policy administration systems Exposure to workflow configuration and rule engines in insurance products Understanding of end-to-end insurance lifecycle processes Behavioral Competencies Self-driven and highly accountable in a remote work environment Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy Collaborative team player with a proactive approach Curious mindset with continuous learning attitude Apply To This Job
