Role Description We are seeking a friendly, personable, and fast-paced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Telemedicine Urgent Care team in New York. The ideal candidate has experience working with NYS Medicaid and Medicare patients and is comfortable providing virtual urgent care services, including medication refills, basic consultations, and patient follow-up care. This role requires excellent phone and video communication skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and the ability to build strong patient connections in a fast-moving environment.

  • Provide telemedicine urgent care services to patients throughout New York State
  • Conduct virtual consultations for basic urgent care needs and medication refills
  • Deliver friendly, compassionate, and professional patient care over phone and video platforms
  • Review patient histories, symptoms, and treatment plans efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in EMR systems
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
  • Work collaboratively with administrative and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient experiences
  • Manage a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining quality care and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with NYS medical regulations, Medicaid, and Medicare requirements

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Experience with NYS Medicaid and Medicare patients preferred
  • Telemedicine or urgent care experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to connect easily with patients
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and telehealth platforms
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
