As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and excellence in data-driven storytelling.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Designing group (inside DDSI) at arenaflex. As a Senior Information Architect, you will be responsible for designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set mapping/tables/perspectives, and building batch processes using Wind current for various projects. You will collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues in different activities around data requirements gathering, data approval pre-arranging and survey, creating and checking ETL/ELT data pipelines, planning and carrying out data set diagram/tables/views, in addition to deployment across multiple environments like DEV, QA/UAT and Prod.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines using Wind current for various projects - Collaborate with Studios or Project Innovation colleagues in data requirements gathering, data approval pre-arranging and survey, creating and checking ETL/ELT data pipelines - Plan and carry out data set mapping/tables/views - Build batch processes using Wind current - Work with a variety of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Wind stream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL - Participate in driving best practices around data designing software development processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with SQL - 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines - 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3 - 3+ years of experience in an Information Designing role - Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization - Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets - Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other big data technologies - 2+ years of experience working with a cloud platform - 2+ years of experience working with Gitlab/Github - 2+ years of experience working with Docker - Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Wind current, Gitlab, Snowflake, and other arenaflex technologies - Graduate degree in Software engineering, Science, Designing, or a related field - Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing industry - Strong understanding of data streaming, data processing, and data analytics - Experience with data governance, data security, and data compliance
