Reinsurance Claims Processor

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and looking to grow your career in the insurance industry? We’re seeking a Reinsurance Claims Processor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of reinsurance claims while collaborating with various internal and external partners to support seamless claims operations. Your Impact: Reviewing and analyzing incoming reinsurance claims submitted by ceding companies Verifying claim accuracy and completeness in accordance with reinsurance treaties and policy language Communicating effectively with reinsurance intermediaries and internal stakeholders such as underwriters and management to clarify claim details Calculating reinsurance recoveries based on treaty terms and applicable loss allocation provisions Preparing and maintaining thorough claim documentation and files Processing payments in line with company procedures and regulatory standards Researching complex claim scenarios and identifying potential coverage concerns or disputes Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of reinsurance practices, terminology, and industry standards Successful Candidates Will Have: Preferably 2–3 years of experience in a claims processing role A strong understanding of insurance principles and concepts Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a capacity to adapt to new systems Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Pay Range: $60K - $75K Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
