Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process
  • Using computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets
  • Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper travel documentation
  • Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
  • Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
  • Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding
  • Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, make gate announcements, and handle baggage
  • Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lift, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Embodying the arenaflex brand's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction

Language Requirements:

As a Language of Destination (LOD) Agent, you will need to be fluent in both English and Mandarin to better serve our international customers. You will be required to pass a standardized language assessment to demonstrate your proficiency in both languages.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Be proficient in English
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment
  • Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
  • Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
  • Qualified applications with an arrest or conviction record(s) will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act
