Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting the not-for-profit organization's scholarship program. You will work from home, responding to incoming calls from families and schools, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring that all questions are answered, callers are satisfied, and students are registered. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries related to student inquiries, scholarship applications, and funding status
  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that callers are satisfied and their needs are met
  • Resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year of customer service or call center experience
  • English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience
  • The ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during sometimes difficult or tense situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation

Requirements for Working from Home

To ensure a productive and distraction-free work environment, you will need:

  • Wired internet connectivity with internet speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
  • A secure, quiet, and distraction-free workspace
  • A reliable computer and necessary software
