What to Expect in this Role
As a Customer Service & Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. Your role will involve:
- Providing proactive contact and guidance to families to ensure they are getting the best possible results from the arenaflex program
- Maintaining regular contact with families to check on progress and adjust programs where necessary
- Monitoring and adjusting weekly lesson plans to align with our families' goals
- Providing feedback, rewards, and lots of encouragement to students and families
- Listening out for ways to support families and updating account information to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals
- Responding to inbound calls from students seeking extra assistance with arenaflex content
- Using subject matter expertise to provide step-by-step solutions in the arenaflex program to focus on a positive student experience
Training and Development
arenaflex is committed to setting you up for success. You will complete a comprehensive training program led by our in-house training team, which will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. Once you are up and running, you will receive frequent coaching and mentoring from our dedicated coaches and Team Leaders to ensure you continue to grow and develop in your role.
About You
We are looking for a person with a passion for education and helping others. You will have:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- The confidence and maturity to speak with parents about their child's progress
- Confidence dealing with escalations in a professional manner
- Strong organization/administration skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a fast-paced environment working with multiple IT platforms
- Ability to embrace change and drive continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of Math, ideally to grade 12
Tutoring experience or a teaching qualification will be highly regarded but is not required. As part of your role involves giving guidance to students.
Work Environment and Company Culture
arenaflex offers a supportive work-from-home environment, with full-time positions available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Part-time hours are also available. We pride ourselves on our company culture, which values collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
