Seasoned Trial Attorney – Commercial Litigation (Contract / Per Diem, Remote) We are seeking a seasoned and courtroom-tested Trial Attorney to assist on an as-needed, contract or part-time basis. This is not a full-time position. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced commercial trial lawyer capable of serving as first or second chair in bench trials and evidentiary hearings. This role is well suited for a solo practitioner or veteran litigator seeking flexible, high-level trial work with remote preparation. We are specifically looking for someone who can clearly and persuasively present complex commercial disputes to the court, distill convoluted arguments into simple, compelling narratives, and maintain strong command of the courtroom.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of litigation experience, with substantial first- or second-chair trial experience.
  • Strong background in complex commercial and business litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently draft dispositive motions, trial briefs, and substantive pleadings.
  • Experience conducting depositions, managing discovery strategy, and handling document-intensive cases.
  • Strong evidentiary command and ability to present issues clearly to a judge in bench proceedings.
  • Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be admitted to the Florida Bar; federal court admission preferred.
  • Law review or strong writing credentials are a plus, but not required.

This engagement is structured as contract / per diem, with remote flexibility and periodic in-court appearances as required. Position Details:
