The Cincinnati, Ohio office of FBT Gibbons is seeking an Environmental Associate. Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in environmental law
  • Candidates with extensive experience in state or federal administrative law and a strong passion for environmental law will also be considered
  • Regulatory counseling, transactional, and/or litigation experience under major environmental programs, including:
  • Clean Air Act
  • Clean Water Act
  • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
  • State and federal “brownfield” and other environmental investigation and cleanup programs
  • Superior academic credentials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to reside and serve the Cincinnati, Ohio market

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $170,000-$200,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws. Associates are also eligible for:

  • Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
  • Annual subjective bonus
