Social Media, Marketing, and Communications Intern

This is a remote, 8-10 hour/week role with the potential to become a full-time summer 2024 internship in the Bay Area. Ideal candidates have social media skills, climate interest, science aptitude, and strong communication abilities. Those with Business, Marketing, and Communications backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience at an innovative startup working on climate change solutions. Responsibilities

• Maintaining an active social media presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other channels
• Creating and scheduling regular posts highlighting company news, events, partnerships, and scientific publications
• Writing, editing, and promoting science and climate technology-related blogs and thought leadership content
• Supporting major 2024 milestones like planting seasons, investor meetings, and new partnerships
• Distilling complex climate science and nature-based carbon removal research into compelling narratives
• Promoting the company at conferences and events
• Collaborating with team members across science, business, and communications
