Data/Business Analyst

Job Title: Data/Business Analyst Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA/ Seattle, WA/ Los Angeles, CA Experience: 3-4 years Job Description: Responsibilities:

• We are looking for Business /Data analysts to join the efforts driving monetization,
• Apply expertise in Business/data analysis and visualization to understand how users interact with products.
• Deliver data support for both short-term and long-term business development plans from the strategic scope and execution aspects with in-depth analysis.
• Work closely with key cross-functional teams such as product managers, data science, and engineers to solve business problems. -
• Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics
• Expert experience pulling large and complex data using SQL and writing data pipelines.
• Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau);

Nice to Have:

• Experience doing quantitative analysis;
• Development experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.);
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
• Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop) a plus
• Experience working with user growth, search, payment products is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Build and governing matrices for fast changing business in an analytical data-driven approach to identify business issues and opportunities.
• Prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights, and provide quick responses to business inquiries and
• Conduct routine and non-routine end-to-end analyses with large, complex data sets, and make recommendations on appropriate solutions.
