About the Role

We are supporting a growing international fintech and trading organisation seeking a Global Head of Business Development to lead and expand Introducing Broker (IB) partnerships across key international markets.

This is a senior strategic leadership role focused on scaling global IB networks, driving sustainable revenue growth, and strengthening long-term strategic partnerships within the financial services and brokerage ecosystem.

The position combines hands-on commercial execution with leadership responsibility, acting as a senior representative of the organisation across partners, stakeholders, and international industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global business development strategy with a strong focus on Introducing Brokers (IBs) and strategic partnerships

  • Identify, negotiate, onboard, and manage high-value IB relationships across multiple regions

  • Lead complex partnership negotiations and oversee ongoing IB agreements and commercial structures

  • Establish KPIs, monitor partner performance, and optimise revenue growth and engagement

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to support partner-driven initiatives

  • Assess new market opportunities and analyse competitive landscapes to drive expansion strategy

  • Represent the organisation at international conferences, industry events, and senior-level partner meetings

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing international business development and IB management team

  • Provide senior leadership with clear reporting on pipelines, growth metrics, and strategic progress

  • Ensure compliance alignment across all operating jurisdictions

Required Profile

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field

  • Fluent English (C1 level or higher)

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in business development, IB management, or strategic partnerships within financial services, fintech, FX, CFDs, brokerage, or trading platforms

  • Proven expertise in building, managing, and scaling Introducing Broker networks internationally

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing multi-location or international commercial teams

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trading products including FX, CFDs, equities, and derivatives

  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills

  • Proven track record delivering measurable revenue growth through partnership-led expansion

  • Strategic, analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen

  • Willingness to travel internationally and operate across time zones

  • Additional languages (European, Asian, LATAM) considered a strong advantage
