Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Ramp Agent - Customer Service Representative for arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
  • Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
  • Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a Ramp Agent - Customer Service Representative for arenaflex, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on your seniority.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
