Construction Consultant Estimating - 1437598
Our client is a full-service construction company that specializes in commercial and industrial construction projects. They are dedicated to safety and have a strong focus on sustainability, using eco-friendly building practices whenever possible. We are seeking an experienced senior estimator to take our client's estimating team to the next level. This is a 6-month consulting opportunity that involves training the existing team of estimators to:
- read construction plans
- create a workflow that enhances delivery and accuracy
- coaching manager and team members in estimating
- establishing best practices
- making suggestions for improvement for the estimating department
This is a remote position with some travel to the actual office to meet with the company in person. Must haves:
- construction background
- architectural and design expertise
- the ability to communicate and teach
- gypsum flooring knowledge would be a plus.
