Description: The Adjunct Instructor – Developmental Psychology is responsible for delivering high-quality synchronous online instruction focused on human development across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes from infancy through late adulthood. Check us out! Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver lectures, discussions, and learning activities focused on human development across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social domains
  • Teach major developmental theories, milestones, and lifespan changes from infancy through late adulthood
  • Deliver live, scheduled online class sessions and actively teach during all assigned meeting times
  • Incorporate real-world applications related to childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging, helping students connect course content to personal, social, and professional contexts

  • Master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field required; individuals with a master’s degree in another discipline may be considered with at least 15 graduate credits in psychology
  • College-level teaching experience preferred
  • Experience teaching diverse student populations
  • Experience with online learning platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
