  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in New York (or eligibility for immediate licensure)
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with teachers and families
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in classroom and pull-out settings
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Document services, maintain student records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Educate staff and families about strategies to support students’ development and success
