Entertainment Attorney

The firm provides strategic legal counsel in areas including contracts, licensing, intellectual property, talent representation, and brand protection. With deep industry knowledge and a hands-on approach, the firm helps clients navigate complex deals, protect their creative and commercial interests, and achieve their professional goals. Responsibilities:
- Contracts: Draft and negotiate talent, production, licensing, and sponsorship agreements.
- Intellectual Property: Advise on copyright, trademark, and brand protection.
- Deals: Support transactions, including content distribution and endorsements.
- Client Counseling: Provide strategic legal guidance to clients.
- Disputes: Assist with contract and IP dispute resolution.
- Industry Monitoring: Track trends in entertainment, sports, and media law.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to align legal and business goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in entertainment, media, sports, or related transactional/IP law.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and licensing agreements.
- Strong knowledge of copyright, trademark, and brand protection matters.
- Experience advising clients on business and strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
