About the Client Our client is a payment gateway and card processing provider for merchants. They focus on card acquiring, global payment acceptance, pay-in and pay-out flows, flexible settlements, and regional payment methods. Their product is centered around an in-house built gateway and customizable integrations. Role Overview As an Automation Team Lead, you will guide the AI automation strategy across the company. You will identify and prioritize processes ripe for automation, design and deploy AI solutions, and lead a team of developers to optimize and integrate these solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the AI automation strategy across the company Identify and prioritize business processes suitable for automation (especially data-heavy and calculation-driven workflows) Design and implement AI-based solutions, including AI agents/personas for operational tasks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems Monitor and optimize the performance of automated processes to ensure efficiency and scalability Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of automation developers, fostering a culture of innovation

Requirements

Proven experience leading or building projects from scratch (ideally in AI or automation) Strong understanding of system architecture and solution design Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, or automation platforms (or strong motivation to work deeply in this space) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, commonly used in AI and automation Good communication skills in Russian Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying AI solutions Key Soft Skills Startup mindset Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work autonomously and make data-driven decisions
