The IT Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, security, and maintenance of the organization’s global information technology infrastructure. This role ensures 24/7 system availability, manages the lifecycle of physical and virtual assets, and oversees third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to support a distributed workforce. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Vendor & Service Management: Accountable for the performance of IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs); monitors Tier 1 support delivery and ensures adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Global Asset Lifecycle: Oversees procurement, international logistics, deployment, and secure decommissioning of hardware (laptops/peripherals) across North America, Europe, and Asia. Security & Compliance: Implements and enforces security protocols including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Endpoint Protection, and Zero-Trust architecture. Ensures organizational compliance with SOC2 standards and regional data privacy laws (GDPR, India DPDP, PIPEDA). People Leadership: Exercises direct supervisory authority over Technical Support Analysts, including hiring, performance management, training, and professional development. Systems Administration: Manages the administration and optimization of core SaaS applications (Google Workspace, OKTA, JumpCloud, Zscaler) and "Modern Workplace" collaboration tools. Infrastructure & Risk: Monitors the health of physical and virtualized environments; leads incident response, disaster recovery planning, and risk mitigation activities. Strategic Projects: Acts as Project Lead for internal technology initiatives, including system migrations, AI implementation, and geographic business expansions. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Substantial experience in IT operations within a global, multi-time-zone environment, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in Windows and macOS administration. Expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and cloud architecture (GCP). Communication: Fluent professional verbal and written English communication skills. Remote Work: Ability to maintain a secure, private home office environment. Digital Presence: Sustained use of computer systems and participation in virtual meetings across varying time zones. Travel: Occasional international travel may be required for corporate audits or strategic planning.
