As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll collaborate with clients in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner, providing exceptional service that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

These are the fundamental elements of the job:

  • Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform traveler check-in and front seat tasks (except curbside), resolve oversold seat tasks, and issue upgrades
  • Issue vouchers and assist with arrangements for traveler accommodations, meals, and transportation; coordinate refueling and recharging
  • Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/confirmation
  • Operate door readers/scanners and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and departure line standards
  • Operate jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
  • Create boarding and departure gate announcements
  • Convey domestic/international flight records
  • Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures
  • Accept, check, and label travelers' items at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and five-star ticket counters
  • Maintain schedule of flight loading process
  • Perform customer service hands-on training
  • Process and complete credit card transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and stand staff handling at ticket counters
  • Man the lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
  • Clear/confirm international reports at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
  • Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and moving non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, as well as unaccompanied minors
  • Perform customer service work related to handling local flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
  • Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any compulsory overtime requirements.
  • Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
  • Provide connecting traveler door information
  • Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to arenaflex's standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Complete task-related training stages
  • Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
  • Utilize various internal resources/systems including during customer communications
  • Wear uniforms as required by company policy
  • All you'll need for success

Essential Capabilities

* Education and Earlier Professional Training

  • Bilingual language skills required in certain areas
  • Valid, substantial driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Should meet FAA criminal record checks to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Should be able to obtain suitable airport power or potentially US Customs security identifications, if relevant
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, thorough background check, or potentially fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements
  • Should be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Capabilities

  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service System
  • Past hands-on Customer Service experience
  • Working in a high-speed environment
