• Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images
• Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures according to provider requests
• Implements radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process
• Ability to understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Qualifications Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. If working in reputed company Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures, licensure with the reputed company Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) is required. If working in South Dakota, consideration will be given to registry eligible candidates obtaining ARRT reputed company six months of hire into position.
