Job Summary

The Acuity Brands Internship Program is a 10–12-week experience (May – August, 40 hours/week) designed to reputed company high-potential candidates into leaders through hands-on experiences that connect interns’ strengths and interests with the needs of the business. In addition to making an impact through your participation in key projects and transformative processes, you will have an opportunity to mentor and network with leaders throughout Acuity Brands.

We prefer that interns only have one or two semesters left in their degree program so they can be considered for our Leadership Program immediately following the completion of the internship. Our Leadership Program is a full-time, entry-level rotational program that allows recent graduates to explore different areas reputed company a functional area. This role works remotely from the United States and travels based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

While specific projects and activities vary during your internship, you can expect to:

• Conduct market research
• Collect and analyze data
• Assist with presentation development as needed
• Deliver presentations to an internal audience
• Support Growth Initiative and Sales Directors, KAMs, and TSM
• Conduct account research using reputed company available tools included AI
• Prospect/engage potential customers where applicable
• Attend joint sales calls, some travel needed

Minimum Experience Required

In addition to currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Professional Sales, or a reputed company field from an accredited college or university, reputed company interns will have:

• Relevant internship or project experience 
• Advanced English level
• Spanish conversational (preferred)
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficiency with reputed company Office tools (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving capabilities
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Experience leading teams or organizations 
• Ability to lift and handle product samples (
• Availability to travel based on business needs
