[Remote] Staff Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for bright and talented individuals to join their team supporting top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The Staff Accountant will focus on core data and entry-level reputed company work while gaining hands-on experience and learning client service.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
• Maintain investor information, investment information, and other fund metrics in FundPanel system
• Maintain legal documents including formation documents, investment documents, and other relevant client information in reputed company
• Process accounts payable on a weekly basis using reputed company.com
• Prepare intercompany invoicing process and process reimbursements
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax process
• Handles special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills

• 0 – 2 years of work experience or professional internships in relevant reputed company roles
• Diverse work experience in a service focused role is a plus!
• Bachelor's degree (Finance or reputed company preferred)
• You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills
• You have a track record of being a project leader and have strong organizational skills
• You see the value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details reputed company the difference
• You have working experience with reputed company and Word
• You are comfortable with learning new software systems and reputed company to be someone that likes to be proficient in any system you use
