reputed company. is a company committed to creating for reputed company in the bioprocessing sector. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage various reputed company responsibilities including expense reviews, inventory reconciliation, and vendor payments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter various journal entries
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Reconcile inventory monthly
- Manage service reputed company and warranty reputed company, post reputed company journal entries
- Prepare reports required for monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Gather worked hours from reputed company, review for accuracy, and import to ERP
- Reconcile monthly sales tax
- Reconcile AR/AP/Credit Card accounts and subledgers monthly
- Review the fixed and intangible asset sub ledger
- Participate in audits and physical inventories
- Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
- File/reputed company documents on as-needed basis
- Review employee expenses reports for accuracy and compliance
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve A/P issues by working with other departments and the vendor
- Enter invoices in ERP system (MS Business Central) and/or generate weekly payment runs, as backup
- Obtain W-9s from new vendors and follow vendor set up procedure
- Prepare annual 1099s issued to appropriate vendors
- Enter expenses for German wholly owned subsidiary and affiliate company (EUR)
- Self-assess use tax reputed company applicable
- Assist with value-added tax (VAT) reporting
- Review Sales Orders for accuracy
- Add new customers to ERP system, after credit approval by VP of Finance
- Assist in the preparation of customer invoices
- Track aging and reputed company collection calls/follow-reputed company as needed
- Apply customer payments to appropriate account
- Escalate problems as needed
- Assist in annual preparation of company Budget
- Supports development of junior staff or interns
- Other projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company required
- 1-2 years' experience performing reputed company work
- Exceptional reputed company, professionalism, detail-orientation, and organization
- Familiarity with both small and large company processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing businesses a plus
- Experience with ERP systems – reputed company Business Central is a plus
- High Proficiency in reputed company Office – reputed company, Word, and Outlook
- CPA study or aspiration desired
- Familiarity with reputed company PowerBI a plus
