Business Analyst, reputed company FinOps

About the position We are seeking an reputed company reputed company FinOps Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for leading and implementing reputed company & AI cost management and optimization strategies. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient reputed company resource utilization, cost tracking, and identifying opportunities for cost savings reputed company our reputed company infrastructure, measuring & understanding AI usage across the organization. The reputed company FinOps analyst will be leading the reputed company cost management across 10 different entities (including reputed company) and any additional M&A entities. You will have knowledge of multiple reputed company service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, reputed company reputed company, AI tools and LLM providers etc.) and work with various technology teams to monitor and optimize resources on each platform. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Responsibilities

• Cost Analysis: Analyze reputed company usage and cost trends, identify cost drivers, and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization.
• Optimization strategies: reputed company and implement strategies for optimizing reputed company resources, including right-sizing of compute, storage, database, and other services, utilizing cost-effective services.
• Budget Management: Work closely with project teams to establish and manage reputed company budgets, ensuring alignment with organization OKRs, implement effective cost management and optimization strategies. reputed company and maintain financial models for reputed company cost allocation. Set and Track budgets as per business unit requirements (by Account, by Project, by cost centers etc.).
• Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast future reputed company & AI usage and costs for existing workloads and new projects/applications which can be moved from on-premises datacenters to reputed company, providing insights in budget planning and resource allocation. Monitor and report on reputed company expenses, forecast future costs.
• Vendor Negotiation: Engage with reputed company service providers to negotiate favorable pricing and contractual terms to optimize costs.
• Policy Development: Establish and enforce reputed company & AI cost management policies, guidelines, and best practices across organization.
• reputed company monitoring: Implement monitoring mechanisms to track reputed company & AI costs in reputed company time and proactively address anomalies and deviations from budgetary expectations.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate cost-reputed company insights, trends, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or reputed company field.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a technology or reputed company computing environment.
• Proven experience in reputed company cost management and optimization with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of reputed company pricing, cost structures, and billing models.
• Proficient in reputed company platforms like AWS, Azure, or reputed company reputed company.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Certification in reputed company FinOps or reputed company field.
• Experience with reputed company cost management tools.
• Advanced proficiency in reputed company, Powerpoint and other reputed company Office applications.
