Job Summary

As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the sales of reputed company Cloud Platform's data analytics solutions to government and education customers. You will work closely with clients and prospects to understand their data analytics needs and recommend the innovative solutions that reputed company has to offer. Your goal will be to generate a plan to ensure large Data Analytics engagement into new reputed company Cloud accounts, drive new Data Analytics workloads in existing reputed company Cloud accounts, and build and maintain executive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level clients and prospects, understanding their data analytics needs and recommending solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in selling information analytics software programs or solutions.
  • Experience in government-level sales or consulting in cloud-based (e.g., SaaS) technology to State and Local Government and Higher Education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with market-leading Business Intelligence reputed company-end, Data Analytics Middleware, or back-end Data Warehouse technology.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technology included in information solutions.
  • Understanding of Cloud Data Analytics era stack (i.e., Hadoop/Spark Data lakes, SQL Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, OLAP and Data technology reputed company, BigQuery, Looker, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business value to technology at the C-level and act as a thought leader inside the data analytics topics.
